Why seamless epoxy suits clinical rooms
Epoxy flooring is a system on your existing slab. We grind off old coatings, stains and dirt and open the concrete, repair cracks and holes, roll on a primer that fuses into the concrete, apply a base coat and your finish, and add an abrasion-resistant polyaspartic topcoat. The primer fuses into the concrete for a bond that will not peel, and the topcoat is UV-stable and glossy. The result is one continuous surface.
That matters where hygiene is chosen before appearance. A seamless, non-porous floor has no grout or joints to trap fluid, mold, bacteria or allergens, it resists chemicals and washes with soap and water, and a cove up the wall is an option. It also has low odor and low VOCs. Compared with tile or sheet flooring, it leaves fewer places for dirt to hide. It is also hypoallergenic and pet friendly, which counts in a room where people and animals wait.
